Default UW and PuG duos

I'm not sure bout ya'll but I have noticed that an increasing amount of 100+ pugs are doing duos and failing miserably at them.

If I were to have to pull a number out of my arse, I would have to say at least 75% of 100+ PuGs fail b/c of ppl trying duos.

Im not sure why they feel the need to try duos when PuGs are not going for anykind of speed records...they are simply going to finish. To me its simple..if u see that something (in this case duos) are the reason most groups are failing, then we as ppl pugging should attempt to ban them from PuGs.

Now I'm not talking bout guild/ally groups...strictly PuG groups. With your friends do whatever you like. The reason I say 100+ is b/c for some reason this is where ppl think they are now pros...although idk y. The 50-100 groups tend to have higher success rates simply b/c ppl tend to be more cautious from what I have seen.

When u get to 200+ groups a whole other problem arises via solo's.....but I won't get started on these genius's atm.

Well anywho that's my rant. If you have seen the same or feel otherwise plz let me know of your opinion.

I'd agree to the point that doing t3/4 together (what you guys call suicideway, lol) is not good unless you meet certain criteria:

you and your duo partner are familiar with eachother
you and your duo partner are on vent or ts
you and your duo partner are experienced enough to be able to adapt to the crazy way many pugs runs go (just simple logic, understanding of the game)

If you meet those 3 things, then I'd encourage duos in pugs because the only way the player base will get faster as a whole is by adapting the tactics the record/faster players use and implementing them into pug runs.

Banning something on the other hand is not a good idea. There are many many things that should be banned before you ban duos. E/Me wastes, non-dwg spikers, and assassin t2s are all much less effective then their alternatives, and should not be run.

@the comment about solo quests (im guessing you mean wastes), if you can pop wastes then you should be able to do the quest. it is easy and there are many ways to do it. simple things like escort should be more likely to fail. lol

Suicideway is a specific method of doing the 4h quest in which the t3 and t4 kill the bosses before the skeles. It bugs me to no end when people call true duos suicideway...

Personally I try to stay away from 100+ runs in which the t3 and t4 are doing true duos or suicideway, because people with close to 100 stones are likely just starting to do duos. I feel like the success rate is pretty good in 200+ groups though. I've done true duos successfully in plenty of groups where i don't have any experience with my partner and we're not on vent/ts. As long as you both know what you're doing there shouldn't be a problem. Finding people who know what they're doing is the tricky part though

I agree 100%, I hate seeing duos in pug groups. Most of the time in pugs I see the second conset or a 2nd bu used. There is no point in taking the risk only to finish 5-10 minutes faster if they are successful. If we are not on vent, I don't even think about duo, and it isn't worth the risk.

It comes down to would you rather finish in 35 mins with a 25% success rate just to say "gg thx", or finish in 45 mins with a 75% sucess rate? I only go on UW runs for the chest, and I would rather see the chest even if it takes an extra 10 mins.
